  6. How long are the auctions?
Normally seven or ten days, depending on the item being placed on eBay. As a member of BeattiesPortal registered members can have items up to 30 days at no extra cost.
  7. How long does it all take?
Normally items will be listed within 24 hours of received data. Customers will be advised as to exact timing. Customers will receive a check within 10 days after  we receive payment from the buyer.
  8. What if an item does not sell?
If an item does not sell, customer may re-list within 2 days for 50% of original listing fee, or keep in our eBay store at no cost to the member for 90 days or until sold (whichever comes first).
  9. Why is there a desired minimum $75 selling price for each item?
The processing costs involved are such that accepting items of a lesser value would result in the customer receiving little in return for their items.
  10. Why do you recommend that auctions start at $1.00 versus a stated minimum amount?
Experience shows, selecting a $1.00 starting price usually results in a higher final sale price because there will be more bidders and watchers. Customers can select a higher starting price by asking for it, but the item is less likely to sell or sell at a lower price. Although we will strive for the highest price,  We are legally bound to accept the highest bid for the item. If it sells for less than you think it is worth, we are still legally required to deliver the item at the highest bid.
  11. What if an item sells below the $75 minumum estimated value?
On occation, items will not perform to expectations, and  BBBClub Auctions cannot guarantee any items performance. It's in our interest to see that each item has a chance to succeed. We will do everything we can to make this happen.
  12. Why can't items heavier than 50 pounds be sold?
We can, but the vast majority of items that sell on eBay or through our merchant stores weigh less than 20 pounds (Exception being items such as Houses, Boats and Cars). It's our experience that under 50 pound items sell better because of shipping costs incurred.
  13. Why does BeattiesDiscountClub accept some items and not others?
The short answer is eBay regulations and our policies.  We will not sell sexually explicit material, some types of weapons, conterfeit items, items deemed to be hazardous, or other items outlined in eBay's prohibited list. Note that even though one can find almost anything on eBay, not everything on eBay sells for high prices.  We has the experience that will yield higher bids for our customers.  We also focus on accepting and selling items that can be transported inexpensively and safely.
  14. How much does it cost to use us as the Trading Assistant
Charges are based on eBy costs.  They use a progressive commission based on the value listed, time and price sold.
